"Human are FREE" on sales!
(This is my anonymous writing few years ago🗿)
Many views are influenced by idealism derived from textbooks created by thinkers throughout history. For example, the events in North America have resulted in books that have become holy scriptures for some people today. The local community, which still holds onto its heritage, needs to defend its inherited identity compared to the new identity imposed from outside. Everyone struggles with their identity, and some seek to defend or even destroy it. This may sound anarchistic, but the reality is that to truly see humans without the illusions that surround them, we must recognize them as imperfect and fragile beings. Humans are always in search of hope, and suffering is often a part of the journey towards finding hope. If individuals are impoverished, they strive to escape poverty. If they believe society should let go of their local culture and embrace a new one, hope for such a change is born. Anyone who obstructs that path is seen as a real enemy. We can observe that when individuals face obstacles in fulfilling their hopes, they resist as much as possible.
However, everything depends on something. Nothing comes for free; instead, everything comes with a form of servitude. Religious people are correct in asserting that worshiping something is human nature. It is through worship that true hope exists, and without hope, based on suffering, humans may be willing to die immediately. During my educational years, I hoped to pass exams; when I passed exams, I hoped to graduate; when I graduated, I hoped to become a successful scientist. As Pascal explained from the beginning, it is in times of difficulty that humans are naturally inclined to hope, and the uncertainty of those difficulties makes humans beings who hope for anything.
In the case of cult leaders in South Korea and Japan, they cleverly exploit the nature of predominantly atheist humans who seek hope and purpose. However, Karl Marx made a mistake in claiming that religion is opium, as religion is just one of the options to fill the void within humans. Marx was influenced by Hegel, and we are aware that he adopted Hegel's ideas, which are essentially racist. Even today, Marx's supporters deny that he referred to Asians as monkeys. It is important to remember to see humans as humans. I was educated to learn to disregard any identity that individuals form on the streets due to their disappointment with the destruction of their previous identity caused by external forces stemming from their own shortcomings. It should be understood that all identities created by humans can crumble due to their inherent fragility. How can humans possibly explain the entire contents of this world?
In heated discussions about the end of modernity, it is argued that Fukuyama was mistaken in claiming that humanity had reached the final stage with Adam Smith's book. This claim is incorrect because that ideology has died out worldwide. Humanity is now embracing its ancestral identity, even in Malaysia and the state of Sarawak itself, despite politicians continuing to engage in rhetoric, which will also come to an end. Even I, since my school days, was a secularist who now embraces my original identity as Malays-Muslim without becoming a slave to humanity.
In reality, humans defend their ego in various ways, and to differentiate intellectuals and challenge their theories, one should observe the extent to which they defend their ego. In the everyday world, anyone can become corrupt, and money is not just an object. Many intellectuals become corrupt because they are captivated by the allure of a leader who blinds their judgment. Why? Because they are human.
When I encounter individuals who label themselves as free thinkers, I dismantle the dream of freedom and the illusions that humans find in the books they read. As long as something originates from humans, it is inherently false and akin to fairy tales.
Who claims that humans are free? Smith? Russell? Dawkins? Yourself? Humans themselves? And who states that humans must be free? Humans themselves? Humans can create free interpretations despite being confined by the concept of freedom. Only time will determine when that dogma will cease to exist and die in a humiliating state, and we are witnessing that process right now.
